In Windows I have Cool Edit and Cool Edit 2 which I believe are precursors of Audition. I really wish there was a native Linux Irfanview. What I do is open Irfanview-Wine and then drag and drop the file in it but it is much less convenient. I can run it under WINE but it is a bit of a pain because if I double click on a graphics file it does not open in Irfanview-Wine.
On the other hand I just love Irfanview as a graphics viewer and it does not have a Linux version.
